Doctors Presco is a healthcare directory platform operated from Nadia, West Bengal. We connect patients with verified doctors, clinics, hospitals, and diagnostic labs. Our platform is focused on West Bengal and will expand to other locations after launch.

From Patients (registered users):
• Full name, email address, mobile number
• Date of birth, gender, city, district, state, pincode
• Appointment booking details (doctor, date, time, reason)
• Login credentials (stored as secure bcrypt hashes — never plain text)

From Doctors / Clinics / Labs:
• Practice name, specialization, qualifications
• Chamber address, visiting timings, consultation fee
• Contact information and profile photo

Automatically collected:
• IP address (for location detection and security logging)
• Browser type and device information
• Pages visited and session duration
• Cookies for session management

• To display your doctor or clinic profile on the platform
• To process and manage appointment booking requests
• To detect your approximate location for relevant search results
• To send appointment confirmations and status updates
• To respond to support requests and enquiries
• To improve platform features based on usage patterns
• To prevent fraud and maintain platform security
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for unrelated advertising or marketing without explicit consent.

We share data only in these circumstances:
• Booking enquiries: Patient contact details are shared only with the specific doctor/clinic they booked with
• Service providers: We use Google Maps (for directions/embeds) and IP geolocation services — they have their own privacy policies
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety
• Admin team: Platform administrators can access listings for moderation, verification, and support purposes

We use essential cookies to:
• Maintain your login session (user or provider accounts)
• Store your language and location preferences
• Protect against CSRF attacks (security tokens)

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies beyond Google AdSense (if enabled by the administrator). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent login functionality.

• User accounts: Retained for as long as the account is active. Users can delete their account at any time from their profile — their data is then removed within 15 days.
• Booking inquiries: Retained for 24 months for record-keeping, then permanently deleted
• Doctor/clinic profiles: Retained for as long as the listing is active on the platform
• Server logs: Retained for 90 days for security monitoring
• Audit logs: Retained for 12 months for compliance

As a user of Doctors Presco, you have the right to:
• Access all personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your appointment history in CSV format
• Opt out of non-essential communications

• All passwords are hashed using bcrypt (cost factor 12) — never stored in plain text

• The admin panel URL is not publicly linked or indexed

• Patient data is only visible to the patient themselves and platform administrators
• Regular security reviews and code audits

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
